Alien: Earth Wreckage Experience: EMEA Tour

Brief

Creating immersive brand theatre for Alien franchise fans to drive awareness and subscription to Disney+.

Strategy

Disney+ and their partner network FX wanted to build fan anticipation around the launch of the new Alien franchise TV show, Alien: Earth.

An immersive brand experience was trialled in the US; Experience12 were tasked with elevating a brand experience for European markets – adding further creative flourish and calls-to-action.

What we did

Execution

Through heightened brand theatre, jump scares and personalised merchandise, Alien fans and broader pop-culture / horror enthusiasts could travel into the world of Alien: Earth, and take a tour around some of the mysteries and thrills heading their way in the new show.

The experience debuted at London MCM Comic Con, becoming the critical hit of the show. Following this, and during the show’s key 4 week pre-release period, the experience went on to Westfield Paris, London Southbank, Budapest’s Sziget Festival, Gamescom Cologne and even the show’s European premiere.
